An Educational Credential Assessment (ECA) is a process by which international academic qualifications are reviewed, verified, and compared to Canadian educational standards.
An ECA report outlines an applicant’s credential(s) and states its/their general comparable academic level in Canada. There are two types of ECA reports one for general purposes (employment, working in the USA, further education and professional licensing) and the other for Canada immigration purposes.
